Talking to people first

Nau is a new outdoor apparel brand being formed that combines beauty, performance and sustainability in a way that should be a new benchmark for a consumer products company. Their design and corporate responsibility ethos underscore that a company can be start with the idea of "doing well by doing good". Their name, pronounced like "now" is a Polynesian word of welcome and inclusivity, which to me is an invitation to become part of something more than just wearing their stuff. Lastly, I love that Nau has choosen to start their company by talking to people first, before selling anything. You can't buy their products yet. You can just talk to them...very cool.
