  • If Cactus isn't a Lovemark what is?

These guys make amazing products. If a feature exists, its because it’s needed by someone who uses the products, not just to fill a bullet point on some marketing spiel. The company is built on sound ethical principles and they really do care about their customers. The pride and passion for their work comes through in everything they make...if Cactus isn’t a Lovemark what is?

  • An ethical brand at home in the role of champion

Ok so I’m biased but lets look at this...The last company to manufacture backpacks in New Zealand, Cactus Climbing is a brand based upon what once was the norm but now is rare. That is making utilitarian products that wear in, not out. Making things not for consumption per se but as tools to find adventure. Since 1992 they’ve been quietly building up a following by ignoring the tends towards homogenisation and change for changes sake. An ethical brand at home in the role of champion for other small businesses an acting as advocate for an industry decimated by the move to offshore, low-cost, low-quality production.
