The best show on TV right now
This is the best show on TV right now. I was skeptical when I first heard that they were going to remake the original, but they have surpassed it by light years. The characters are complex and sympathetic, the plot is fascinating, and it is presented in a realistic fashion. Each week I am left hanging, waiting for more. If you aren’t already a fan of this show, you should give it a try.

A definite step above the original
Yeah, buddy! Battlestar Galactica is the best show on television today. Smartly written plot twists and gripping characters always keep fans guessing. A definite step above the original and a first-class drama. Apollo + Starbuck = soulmates!!!

I recently spent an entire day watching the series
Gripping and intelligent! I've never been a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars or any other sci-fi series. But Battlestar Galactica, quite frankly, is altogether brilliant. I recently spent an entire day (noon to midnight) watching the series on DVD. I was hooked after the first episode! The acting is refreshingly believable and the storylines captivating. I can't recommend this highly enough!

High quality television
Only the grittiest, most dramatic and yet most human space drama ever on television! And this from a lifelong Trekkie. Great stories, great acting and an excellent conceptual update on the old 70's TV show...this new incarnation does not have to be a guilty pleasure, just high quality television.
