I can create a piece of art with them
The first time i heard about Global Knives I thought what is the big deal, Kitchen devils had been my staple since getting married. I then bought the cooks knife and fell in love, these knifes make prepping a joy. I take my knives with me when visiting relations, chopping vegetables is no chore it is a pleasure. My knives fit in my hand like a paint brush and I can create a piece of art with them.

The perfect balance of it
Global knives, one word sums them up: Stunning. From the first time I picked one up, held it, felt the perfect balance of it, I was fascinated and inspired. They are beautiful.

Mystery, sensuality, intimacy
The mystery of it being made out of one piece. The sensuality when you hold it, first cold and slowly adjusting to your body temperature. And the intimacy because I feel that I'm betraying these knives when I'm using another one.

Zen meditation
I was convinced when my son, a sushi chef, bought a Global deba and gave it a 100% rating. They are very beautiful- the sashimi knife makes cutting raw fish a Zen meditation! I wish they'd make a penknife...........

They give me joy to touch, look at and use. They are reliable and so sharp. They make cooking an experience! I'll never buy another brand of knives.

Functional perfection - and fun
Super sharp knives that are as beautiful as they are functional perfection. When you enjoy cooking, good tools make it even more fun. I love the sharp 'sheesh' sound it makes when I pull it out of my drawers, I love the way it just cuts through anything without much force applied to it. The innovative design of blade and its metal handle welded seamlessly is gorgeous enough to star for a few seconds when I finish washing it after cooking.
