People love boats. Boats are fast and fun and cost way too much and everyone loves being sun baked and scared during their one day a summer they go out in a boat. Mercury is the Harley, Marlboro, Budweiser, and Rocky Balboa of boat engines. They are reliable and powerful, and in the last ten years have been lambasted by the EPA and environmental activists - and rightly so. In a seeming defiance of their brand, they cancelled all dirty two-stroke engines from their production line. Instead, they created “The Verado.” This is the cleanest, most powerful, highest quality engine ever produced. Our waters will be cleaner and our fun will only increase. When I am in a boat, and I think I'm going to die or be stranded, which is anytime I'm in a boat, I feel better knowing a Verado will get me home.
