As comfortable as "lace butter"
A recent article in the Wall Street Journal by Gwendolyn Bounds touted the success of an independent, woman-owned company called Hanky Panky. They've re-invented the thong. And what they have come up with is a stretchy, lacy, sexy little number which is not sized, only comes in two styles and is priced at $15 US. I am not a regular reader of the WSJ, therefore it was fortuitous that I came upon the front-page article. As a graphic designer and female consumer (a dangerous combination) I am a sucker for advertising and needed to know first hand if the silken undergarment offered the most sexiest of comforts. The next day while shopping locally, I happened upon the Hanky Panky panties and recognized the shape from the sketch in the WSJ and I snatched up a lavender pair only to return for more…they were as comfortable as "lace butter".
