Championed Australian music since its start
A youth radio station that is so much more. Triple J plays an important role in Australian broadcast history being the first radio station to feature a female broadcaster. This institution has also championed Australian music since its start, having unearthed artists such as Grinspoon and Missy Higgins.

A Lovemark for your ears
This is a radio station for thinking people. Australia has a lot to be sorry for - white man's treatment of the indigenous owners of our land, turning away refugees for absolutely no reason, a Prime Minister unable to apologise for any wrongdoing and right-wing media commentators who wield power like savage clubs. This station makes up for a little bit of those embarrassments. It goes beyond playing populist songs. It is a lifestyle choice. It is a Lovemark for your ears.

Independence in action
Triple J is the thinking popper's station. At the level of pop artistry, it's socially today what the Eureka Stockade was politically. It's an independence in action thing, a comfort to know it exists.

They know how to nurture a song..
A radio station in Australia that is broadcast nationally. There are no shitty commercials, no DJs that try too hard to be funny and no tacky battle of the sexes. They have a diverse range of music that is cool and they know how to nurture a song NOT KILL IT. Basically everything that annoys me about commercial stations Triple J doesn't do. They know how to keep it real and say it how it is with a great sense of witty humour. It is the first thing I love to hear in the morning. Without my Triple J, I would be lost!
