  • Long live real branding!

Amul as a product is what satisfies to collective desire of consumers. Amul as a brand is what I would prefer to call as perseverance of simply yet powerful idea. the longest running campaign (mostly outdoor) is one of the most evolving and entertaining campaign built in India. What they have been doing over the past decades is so strong that at any given point of time, you will not find people who don't know Amul. Long live real branding!

  • This is my taste of India

This is my taste of India and it's great. For me It's also the name of India. I live in Anand where Amul Dairy is situated, right in the heart of the milk production area in India. Around here Amul is considered great name in the world of milk, and Amul is also one of the greatest dairy producers in the world.

  • One of the many, many reasons...

Amul is a great brand. It has not only been a great dairy products brand but it has also been a source of income and livelihood to many people in the state of Gujrat in India... this is something which other brands fail to do. They build their own brands with all strategies and plans but fail to do much for the community. One of the many, many reasons why Amul is a great brand.

I say it gently... and it releases an adrenaline rush... Its name.. sacred and sanctified... its taste... beyond every sense... its Indian-ness... a martyr anyday I know... my Lovemark. Its wit.. its knowledge of my country... its love for all I love... I salute my Lovemark... my Amul!

  • An ocean of hopes

How can you not love a product that represents family life and uplifts farmers' spirits without costing any subsidies to the government. It is one drop of hope joining with hundreds to form an ocean of hopes for farmers and confidence for consumers.

  • Even more endearing

What makes Amul even more endearing and its success more impressive is the fact that the brand doesn't belong to a traditional business corporation but to a co-operative of milk farmers who got together and empowered someone sensational to create and manage their brand. This guy (Dr V Kurien) is a legend. It is too important a brand to bandy about for stuff where its essential values don't hold.

  • An endearing household name

Amul is a brand of dairy products - ranging from butter to ice creams. Amul has been around for many decades, symbolised by its cute mascot - the "utterly butterly" Amul girl with her witty comments on current affairs across the globe. Over time Amul has diversified to include a host of food products beyond dairy produce, and thus, is a household name in India. Amul today is consumed by millions. It has transcended its myriad product forms and endeared itself into our heart, and stomach as well.
