Always something to put a smile on your face...
Crimea is the place I was born. Some might say it's Russia, some might say it's Ukraine, but Crimea is its own world, and officially and Autonomous Republic. There are 109 nationalities on the peninsula and there is an abundance of culture; from the Greeks to the Romans, the Turks to the English, the French and the Russians. It is a playground of the chic, with beautiful beaches, mountain climbing, bike races and skiing. There is always something to do outdoors, and many museums if you would rather stay indoors. The capital is Simferopol, which means the gathering place, and is crisscrossed by many canals. There are many small amusement parks in the city it self, there is a year round circus and several zoos. There is always something going on, on any given day that will put a smile on your face.
