Crown Lager

This trouble with Crownies

Whenever I purchase beer for a special ocasion I purchase Crown Lager. I enjoy many different types of beers and realise some other premium brands even taste better than a Crownie, but I still don't change. I call them by a nickname - Crownies. The bottle hasn't changed. Ever. Its shape is special, different to other beers. But it's impractical, taller, standing up, it doesn't fit the fridge and it doesn't stack sideways either. Everybody has this trouble with Crownies. Perhaps this design fault is part of the appeal? Crownies also aren't twist top - again special, like wine it needs an opener. If its a special occasion you've got to have a Crownie. I don't know why!
