Based on values and tradition.
Walking around Dublin on a winters day strolling around Stephens Green... the wind blowing in my face, calling into one of the many pubs in Dublin to sit down and converse about the weather ,politics or just to relax. These are images that stay with me always. Dublin has a magnetism for youth and a nostalgia for the expat. This city, and even Ireland as a country, is based on values and tradition. Like most people, if you adhere to beliefs and values you will succeed at being a Lovemark, you will attract a long term clientele. The same is true of Dublin, Ireland and its people. This is a formula to make you sit up and take notice.

I think it's the clash of tradition and modernity
Home is my Lovemark. Why ? I think it's the clash of tradition and modernity, the white heat of the 'Celtic Tiger' economy, with the 'dirty old town' of legend. There's a tension that creates a vibe unlike anywhere else - at once forward facing but wrapped in the warm blanket of the past. It's the pubs I missed most - still the only city where the head of state and a bus driver can share a beer, a conversation and a laugh. It's the fashion and the lack of style, the up-market brushing shoulders with the tatty, and the constant rain that makes Dublin city more than a place, more than a Lovemark - it's really a state of mind.
