A higher score, a faster lap or just to 'feel'

Sega, for me, is the number one games publishing company. People always go on about Namco, Atari, SNK and all, but Sega is THE brand. For concepts they're nearly always first. For execution, they're nearly always exactly right. The best two examples I can think of are Sega Rally and Virtua Fighter 2 - Sega lead the way. Other companies are followers. They somehow produce games that have the balance of instant access, with the kind of depth that makes me come back for a higher score, a faster lap or just to 'feel' the game again.
