A lifelong study on worldwide comfort
I love this chair. I think it personifies Charles and Ray Eames' love of design. They've left us an example of a culmination of a lifelong study on worldwide comfort.

Every one is a classic
Which one are we talking about here? It would have to be the leather and rosewood deep buttoned swivel base armchair with matching ottoman stool. Charles and Ray desgned a wide range of furniture and almost every one is a classic but the one we love is the armchair.

Part of our lives
The work of Charles and Ray Eames has shaped the scope of modern design like no other individual or team. Their designs are understated, clean and elegant, to call their designs classics would be an understatement, in reality, they define the benchmark for classic. Their work was also a product of the times they lived in. They lived through the industrial revolution and made mass production beautiful. they are most known for their furniture design, and although many people don't realize it, their chairs as well as imitations of their chairs are still in many government buildings, schools, Hospitals, etc. while at the same time they grace some of the most beautiful offices and homes and are a part of our lives.

The most comfortable, the most beautiful
When Time magazine named the low-slung Eames chair the "chair of the century" they were right on the button. Not only is it the most comfortable chair in the world - it is also the most beautiful. I love sitting in my Eames chair dreaming about owning another one. Another Eames chair that someone I love can use to sit beside me.
