Seinfeld

With his partner, Larry David (who was used as the model for the neurotic George Costanza), Jerry Seinfeld created a show where an entire half hour could be about waiting for a table in a Chinese restaurant. By 1993, his eponymous off-beat TV series had become a huge hit.

  • Relate to the madness

It’s smart and intelligent, presenting situations beyond your imagination. However, you can actually relate to the madness, which makes it even more fun and interesting. You think it - they DO it!

  • Truly honest

A truly honest and genuinely intelligent show about everything rather than nothing, reflecting the keen observations and minutiae of everyday life. Without resorting to cheap laughs or political comment. A heady blend of brilliant scripts, inspired casting, complementary characters and the perfect delivery of every line. The show finished after nine seasons still at the very top of it's game (Simpsons take note!).

  • True masterpiece

The best show of all time ... the fact that this show was about nothing, yet you can relate almost everything that happens in life to it makes it a true masterpiece!

  • Like a friend that you've always wanted close by

Seinfeld. A show about nothing but it certainly doesnt mean nothing to me or to its millions of fans worldwide. I have always loved this show, it's like a friend that you've always wanted to have close by, smart, witty, funny, down-to-earth, sarcastic - but never demanding.
