He inspired me beyond words
I was sad to hear of John's passing. I had the privilege of having worked for him for a short time. He was and will always be my mentor. He inspired me beyond words. To this day I incorporate a part of John's craft to my everyday work and speak of him often. A soul so modest, he probably didn't even realize how many he touched or inspired just by being in his presence. Thank you for making me want more than cookie cutter.

A lasting impression
I have never had the chance to sit in John Sahag's chair, but if I ever had the oppertunity to I would have! He was a expert in the hair industry by far. I feel the loss of such a fellow Artist. He will be greatly missed by every one that knew him, and those of us who did not. I believe that God gives talent to those who desire to achieve. And in my impression of this Lovemark, this legend of a man will leave a lasting impression to all in the hair industry from here on out! God Bless you my John Sahag...

I will miss him as I am sure everyone will
John Sahag, what can I say? He was pure through and through. I only just found out about his passing. I will miss him as I am sure everyone will. I had the pleasure of getting to know his pooch too. He was lovely and I loved him like a mortal loves an angel. Sayonara to a soul I hope to meet again one day.

Made me feel special for over 15 years.
John made me feel special for over 15 years. In Istanbul, Turkey, I was introduced to one of his best friends. John will always be in my memory and will be missed.

A character out of the common.
We knew John in France in Paris during the years of 1970 - 1976. We have the memory of a character out of the common run and we liked that very much. We address all our sympathy to his family.

The world lost a beautiful soul...
The world lost a beautiful soul when John passed away. He was a creative genius who could do anything. He loved everyone. He never gave preference to a famous person or showed favorites. Being with John just in his presence was therapy. You could get 10 years of psychotherapy spending an hour with John. He made each person feel special. His death touched me deeply. I am happy to have know such a beautiful human being. God bless him.

I'm no movie star, but he made me feel like one...
John Sahag styled my hair for ten years. He was an artist with a vision of perfection. John created a masterpiece in every cut. I will miss him greatly. Living in Baltimore, I made many long trips for the best hair cut and got that and much more to remember. I am not a movie star but he made me feel like one every time I left his salon. He will be blessed.

John Sahag will be missed.
I was sad to hear of John's death on June 15. Whenever I was in his chair, he made me feel as if I were the loveliest girl in New York. And strangers on the street frequently stop to ask who does my hair. Such a simple thing like a haircut, has made so much difference to a lot of people. John Sahag will be missed.

A beautiful, well thought-out "puzzle".
John Sahag is by far the master of hair. Every time he cut my hair it was a beautiful, well thought-out "puzzle". I couldn't go anywhere without people complimenting my hair.
