Best - Gig - Evaahhhh
Nick’s music has been a constant since discovering it at 13. The first time I saw him live was the Coogee Bay Hotel in Sydney, late 1985, supported by Screamin Jay Hawkins and The Stems. Best - Gig - Evaahhhh. Mick Harvey is also a favourite, particularly when channelling the spirit of the late Serge Gainsborough.

Won't heal of this sweet Illness
I know, that it is abnormal:) He is driving me crazy in current twelve years. I won't heal of this sweet Illness. I do not want to tell about what HE is. You perfectly know it, if came here. I simply thank god, that he has created NICK. I pray for him. Excuse my English.

The wolf of my life
Nick is the wolf of my life, the lyrics of my thoughts, the music of my vein, his voice is my scream or my tears. He is my blood, my soul "ame soeur" in French...

And every stage in between
Nick Cave is both poet & musician. His lyrics cover life, death, the afterlife and every stage in between. His words and voice can sweep you from the very depths of your own consciousness into unknown parts of your own mind without you being aware that they existed at all. I defy anyone not to fall in love with the beauteous "Into my arms", from The Boatman's Call. His stage performances often do not allude to the poetry thats within the complex phrases, chords and characters of his music. I have heard his CDs and read his lyric books and each time felt a jolt when the images fade out.
