Depth and experiences
I started listening to Life FM a while ago. I didn't think I was worth anything. I was channel surfing on the radio and stopped one Sunday night and heard the talkback show. The guy who was hosting it was really good and said some things that made me stop and think about myself. The more I listened to him the more I realised how valuable I am. I now listen to that same guy every night since he started doing a show daily. I've laughed at his jokes, cried at some of his stories, got angry with him at some things about the world and celebrated with him at some of the world's successes. No other radio station has given me the depth and experiences I've had listening to Life FM. Thank you Life.

Something extra
Lifefm has nothing to compare with it. In a city with 30 commercial networks (Auckland, New Zealand), it has managed the incredible feat of being distinct and unique (to me). Capturing the essence of a good time without going for the gutter in this town is not easy, but they've done it. There's just something about Lifefm, something extra.

Impacted and inspired me
I had been through some tough stuff in life and I was sick of "shock jock" radio. I was browsing for a station that offered more and I found Life FM in New Zealand. It isn't the slickest commercial station compared to others that are around. But every time I tuned in I went away feeling good. It impacted and inspired me so much that I now work as one of the announcers and host the 7pm - midnight show and the talkback show we have on Sunday night which touches on people's lives and stories rather than banter about impersonal topics.
