Rossignol
In 1907, Mr. Abel Rossignol senior set up a factory in Voiron (Isère) to produce bobbins and wooden goods for the textile industry. He also developed his first pair of wooden skis. In 1955 the company changed its focus, and has since grown to become a leading manufacturer of ski equipment.

A ride I still remember
I had a pair of used Rossignol ST 650 when I was a teenager. I broke them in a ride I still remember at Mt-Tremblant where I used to ski everyday. My friend had a pair of Rossignol Equipe Suisse, an exclusive model. It was finished but I liked what it evoked. I liked their logo and started writing my Rs like the Rossignol R.
