Dansko shoes
It began with a uniquely designed and patented Danish clog, discovered by company founders Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup in a tiny shop in Denmark in the late 1980s. Mandy and Peter secured the exclusive rights to the stapled clog product line from Denmark, and Dansko, Inc. was up and running in 1991.

Felt GOOD
I would hate living without my Danskos! I developed "turf toe" and plantar fascitis one summer. I started wearing NewBalance or putting up with awful pain. I also put up with an awful podiatrist. He ordered orthotics and told me they were it for any possible comfort. Then, while shopping for hiking boots ('cause who doesn't take their out-of-practice hurting feet hiking for a week in the Sierras?), the salesgirl brought out a pair of Danskos and had me try them out. My feet felt GOOD for the first time in over a year! I bought basic black and wore them nonstop (except for hiking) for 14 months before they wore out. They still looked good, but quit feeling good. I bought a replacement pair, and all was right again! I'm going to get more now that I know what miracles they are. I LOVE Danskos!

See me through every season
I love my Danskos. For my life in Colorado, my Danskos see me through every season, and each pair lasts me a few years. I have them in black, brown and red, and plan to purchase blue this fall. There is nothing that I wear that doesn't work with my Danskos.
