  • It is the East and the West

As the spring approaches would the judas trees blossom in Istanbul. The purple colour of the trees will embrace the Bopshorus. The royal colour of Byzantium will bring the "joy" by dawn and Pamuk’s famous "hüzün" by dusk. The crowd of the morning will leave its place to whispers. Istanbul is Roman, Istanbul is Ottoman. It is the East and the West, the city of cult churches, grandiose mosques , Art Nouveau. The city of "yalý"s. The city of tents. Open to everyone, but do not expect adherence! It is my lovemark!

  • I could never leave here

Everyday, I work in Europe and come back home to Asia. Where in the world this could happen else than Istanbul? I love Istanbul. It is full of mysteries of the history and has a multicultural environment that attracts you. Istanbul is a mother city: leads you, grows you up, feeds you with enthusiasm. I started living in Istanbul when I started university, and after having the joy of my life, I got the point: I could never leave here, and never will. Isn't a Lovemark something that you can not leave?

  • Epitomises all that is inspiring

Istanbul lives in the past and present, in the west and the east...Constantinople, Byzantium, capital of the East Roman Empire and the Ottormans. I spent 5 of the happiest and most amazing years of my life working and living in Istanbul. A city that epitomises all that is inspiring in mystery, sensuality and intimacy. Istanbul is my Lovemark.

  • "Istanbul, City of Dreams"

"Istanbul, City of Dreams" is what I saw on a huge billboard the first time I visited Istanbul. Walking through its streets, it was as if I feel the history. Istanbul has an ancient heart that is still beating in a strong, amazing, old and modern city!

  • You should feel it...

Istanbul is my Lovemark not only because I live in it. I visited many cities eg Paris, Barcelona, Rome, but istanbul is very different. It has a very special atmosphere, it is a mixture of east and west; traditional things and modern things. Istanbul is hard to tell. You should feel it to understand what kind of city it is!

  • Wonderful sites

Istanbul is the only city in the world built on two continents which Fatih Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror changed in his era. It stands on the shores of the uniquely beautiful Bosphorus (Istanbul Bogazi) where the waters of the Black Sea combine with those of The sea of Marmara and the Golden Horn. Istanbul is a province designed to be the capital and it has been the capital of three empires which used to dominate the world. Today the province houses the precious remains of these civilizations and stands with all its glamour and mysticism as a harmonious link between East and West, past and present, antique and modern. It is one of the richest cities in historical background, as well as one of the most beautiful. The old palaces, the great mosques with soaring minarets, ancient churches, museums, bazaars, the Istanbul Strait and others are wonderful sites worth seeing.

  • The east and the west

It's the greatest, the most beautiful city on the planet. The bosphorus, the sea, the people, the history, the culture, the future, the east and the west, the young and the old, the cool, tradition and values, hope and love. Istanbul is all of these and more. What makes Istanbul so unique is the passion and love and the energy it has that is ready to burst out and you see it everywhere, the restless people who cannot but love Istanbul! It has what the French call JE NE SAIS QUOI and what the Italians call SPREZZATURA and what the Germans call GESTALLT! I love Istanbul!
