Am instantly pulled in
I can recall even now the sound of his voice resonating from the kitchen where my mother was cooking. Now, 20 years later Leonard still resonates from the kitchen, only this time it's my kitchen and I'm doing the cooking. I turn up the volume, drown out the noise of the rain and sing outloud. My first "adult" experience of Cohen was when I read his book 'Beautiful Losers'. I can and still do open the book to any random page and am instantly pulled in. His writing is incredible. I am so enamoured of him that quite frankly I am at a loss of words as to what to say except...Hallelujah!!

A creative genius to be reckoned with
Leonard Cohen is a great Canadian poet deserving the Nobel prize in Literature already.Had he not ever written a verse he certainly has lived the poetic life and had the poetic experience. I have seen him in Greece many years ago. I understand he had bought a house there in 1958. Now he is a Buddhist and free of hope and desire. Leonard Cohen can write circles around everyone. He is a creative genius to be reckoned with. Mr.Cohen means more to us than you will ever know.
