Can't stand to be without it
Congrats to the creator, Brooke McEldowney, for winning the 2006 National Cartoonist Society’s Award for Best Newspaper Comic Strip! I found this wonderful work about a year ago at comics.com & instantly fell in love with it. Easily one of the best strips out there. Wonderful atristry and his dead on commentary of life's foibles (dead on from my point of view). Can't stand to be without it. I was traveling and my laptop died. I ended up using the public library's computer to get my 9CWL fix.

Best comic in years
I get teased a lot about being a middle aged white man who daily reads a comic about women, but I still wouldn't miss it! This is the best comic to come along in years!

Every paper should carry this strip
One of the best comics published these days. You absolutely fall in love with the characters. Thank Heaven's for the internet because my local paper doesn't carry the strip. Every paper should carry this strip.

Inner lives
The inner lives of the women in this comic strip and the "Hallmarks of Felinity" which capture the essence of catness always bring a smile to my lips. The strip from 6/29/04 where the cat Solange is "helping" Edda do her yoga pose downward dog is priceless. I think I mailed that one to half my friends and it spread out through the yoga community from there.
