Live Strong - Wear Yellow

  • An amazingly simple concept

An amazingly simple concept that is phenomenally successful. And this yellow band of rubber "lovemark" is not even six months old, yet it has taken the world by storm. Much like the amazing guy who rides a bike for his job. And it is truly from the heart. I bought 20 in June. Bought another handful when those ran out. Have another 20 on back-order. Every Live Strong band I had has been given away to somebody who needs it more than I. They let me know with their questions, their story, or their eyes.

  • Truly an elegant marketing idea

The other day I was at the mall, wearing my yellow bracelet, and a 10 year old boy came up and asked me where he could get one. Yes, it's cool, it's hip, it's fashion, and it is raising awareness and money to help survivors. I'm a cancer survivor, and I am so glad that someone is thinking about the problems we face AFTER the diagnosis and treatment. This has to be the best fund-raising promo ever, truly an elegant marketing idea. Thanks Lance, and thanks Nike.

  • All about being a SURVIVOR

Oh so easy! A simple yellow rubber bracelet - only $1 - ALL money goes to cancer education -- and oh so cool! Look who's wearing them --Cheryl Crow, John Kerry, young & old alike. AND it's partnered with the ever so popular Lovemark, Nike. Really, sooo cool and for so much good - they can't keep 'em in stock - think of the millions raised! AND I’m not all about what’s hip and in, I’m all about being a cancer SURVIVOR (ovarian, 3 years!) -- thank you Lance!
