  • Will always be there for their everyday customer

Millions of people depend on Wal-Mart everyday for things like groceries, medication, clothing, hardware and other basic household needs. Not everyone can afford to pay a little more for stylish things. Wal-Mart is timeless and since it isn't a trendy place to shop, how could it ever go out of style? I'm glad that Wal-Mart has stayed away from becoming the cool place to buy things, rather the smart place to shop. It's a place that will always be there for their everyday customer. Therefore, it gets my vote as a lovemark.

  • The consumer

I believe Wal-Mart mirrors the soul of America! Persistent, over-coming, accessible, and high in value. To love Wal-Mart is to love America. To hate Wal-Mart is to hate freedom of choice, capitalism, and democracy. No one forces anyone to buy at Wal-Mart. Last I checked, what has made this company the world's largest has been the consumer!! Don't think they inherited that position. If consumers vote with their dollars, Wal-Mart would be the world's biggest lovemark by a landslide.

  • U.S. jobs

Walmart has one thing; cheap stuff. And do you know why? Because it is made overseas by people in sweatshops. If you do want to see U.S. jobs ebbing overseas then STOP supporting places like Walmart. It's that simple. But there are so many other reasons not to support this corporate conglomerate. Do a web search and you will find them.

  • Too big

I've been in a WalMart only about 6 times in my life... usually when a friend drags me in there. Talk about too big, and too impersonal. I'm not into huge warehouse type stores. Where are the small, 'mom and pop' stores of yesteryear. Actually, nowadays, I shop mostly online. At least I can find what I'm looking for without a compass and a map.

  • Even in the middle of the night

Not only is it real handy to have around when you need something other than food, but it's usually open 24 hours a day! All sorts of people go there, and you can go and 'people watch' for great entertainment. Also you can go browse the large aisle even in the middle of the night, how cool is that? Wal-Mart is great!
