Just what I needed as a perfumaniac
As a perfumaniac, Demeter's Library is just what I needed to quench my thirst for fragrances. From the Play-doh smell to the Pure Soap scent, I love them all, sometimes a whiff is all one needs to be comforted. Some scents are sort of weird, but very pertinent (like Rain and Grass). Every time I bring up DFL in a conversation, people get interested and find it amazing what a fragrance can do, how can it change your moods and all. My fav, aside from Pure Soap, is Laundromat - it's so soothing.

There's a Lovemark here for everyone
Not everyone wants to smell like Play-Doh or Dirt, but how divine to spritz oneself with the scent of Chocolate Covered Cherries or fresh laundry! Demeter has gone to the effort of bottling unusual scents that remind you of the special moments in every day. I love their approach, and though I wouldn’t wear all their scents, I am sure there’s a Lovemark here for everyone. And if you must quell the child within you, there’s always the option to smell like your favourite flavour of Jelly Beans.

The scents we know and love
"Demeter is a brand of natural single-scent fragrances... From Tomato to Fresh-Cut Grass to Thunderstorm to Saw Dust. Each scent is available in different forms: cologne, room spray, candles, etc. My favorites are (I daresay I'm addicted to) Laundromat "cologne spray" and Wet Garden room spray. I love that they recognize that the scents we know and love - those we grew up with - are probably more exciting to us than any strange chemical combination of smells they could concoct. Demeter recognizes our olfactory pasts - and connect us to them."

Ugh!
I like their fragrances, but I would like to add that under no circumstances would I order from demeteronline.com again. My experience is they have absolutely no business being in business because they cannot handle orders in any sort of professional fashion. Ugh!

Summer time in the winter...
This line of fragrances takes ordinary smells and makes them into extraordinary perfumes, body washes, and lotions. My favorite scents are the simple ones, like Laundromat, Tangerine, Grass, and Dirt. Yes, they smell like fresh dirt and just cut grass! I can have summer time in the winter with a spritz of Tangerine, or a winter in the California heat with a shower of Snow. I love these scents beyond reason!
