Good intelligent taste
I never would have gotten into so many cool things had I not stumbled upon Giant Robot when I was fifteen. The best thing about GR though is that they are not particularly trendy, they just have good intelligent taste.

Select Cool
Giant Robot is an independent magazine. It was started by a couple guys in a garage type thing and evolved into national distribution in select cool retailers. They've remained independent over the last few years and have even opened a few retail establishments. And they're still cool. No sell out - yet.
