CowParade

CowParade is first and foremost a public art exhibit that is accessible to everyone. At the conclusion of each event, the cows are herded up and many are auctioned, with a substantial portion of the proceeds benefiting charity.

  • Herding a CowParade soon

Get a group of sponsors to each retain a talanted artist, add that to Charitable Event and you have the combination for CowParade. West Hartford CT the home of this concept and a past CowParade city should be proud to have a resident that is the brainchild of this company and several master artists living in and around Hartford. Madison WI will be herding a CowParade soon.

  • Feeling of intimacy

These cows travel the world and become indigenised by the artists of the planet. Not only are they interesting and eye-catching, but they make me feel like I am in an exhibition where the world is a stage, and there is a feeling of intimacy, like the world is cosier because the cows have gone from pasture to pasture.

  • Makes me slow down, look, smile...

Cow Parade brings whimsy, humor, color and surprise to the gray and often grim urban environment. This art makes me slow down, look, smile (or perhaps grimace, but it always strikes an emotion).

  • Public art has to be seen to be loved

CowParade is the world's largest and most successful public art event. CowParade brings art to the streets where it can be seen, loved, enjoyed, and debated by everyone, young and old, rich and poor, people from every walk of life, without the pretense of museum walls. Since Cows on Parade Chicago 1999, the world-famous, life-size painted bovines have grazed the streets and parks of New York, London, Brussels, Tokyo, Houston and over 15 other cities worldwide. CowParade branded, replica merchandise is created in the spirit of its events, striking a special chord with its growing worldwide audience.
