A New Yorker's dream
Fresh Direct is a miracle for busy city dwellers. This online grocery service is wonderfully simple and easy to use: just log in to their Web site, select the items you want, pay, and select the day and time you want them delivered. In my experience, Fresh Direct has never missed a delivery time, overcharged for an item, or gotten an order wrong. Although their selection is limited, the quality of their merchandise is superb. More importantly, their customer service is excellent and their prices are often far lower than those charged by neighborhood markets. In fact, even with their small delivery charge included, I pay less for the things I buy from Fresh Direct than I would for the same items at the supermarket one block away. Convenience, quality, attention to detail -- and service with a smile. Fresh Direct is a New Yorker's dream come true.

Like waiting for Santa Claus!
Fresh Direct saved our lives! We live in a section of Manhattan that had no fresh meats or veggies until just recently. The first night we got a delivery from Fresh Direct we kept running to the window every time we heard a truck drive by. It was like waiting for Santa Claus! Thank God for Fresh Direct, no more walking 10 blocks with heavy groceries.
