Blondie
Blondie is an American pop/rock band founded by singer Deborah Harry and guitarist Christ Stein. The band were pioneers in the American new wave and punk rock scenes of the 1970s.

They were real
Debbie Harry was the coolest rock chick ever. Love this band's music- disco era, but transcends that period. I can listen to "Heart of Glass" and "Rapture" and love them just as much today as I did then. Blondie is cool because they were real, having come up in the 70's, punk NYC, so they seem more authentic than a lot of the other bands that were popular on the radio at the time. And of course, Debbie Harry is gorgeous and has unique style.
