The Matrix offered me a plausible answer
What colour are your eyes...really? When I was a kid I used to wonder if what I saw and called blue was blue to others, what if my green was their blue? Colours were just the tip of the iceberg of all the questions that invaded my mind. The Matrix offered me a plausible answer. I watched it, then watched it again, after that I watched it once more, in the end I went to bed knowing I’ll watch it first thing in the morning. When I am at a crossroad in my life, I think of The Matrix, and I unplug myself.

Longing desire of the viewer
The cornerstone of The Matrix was the allusion of the manipulation of time and reality. Stated bluntly, The Matrix is the Internet. It allows people, like chameleons to adapt to situations, and evolve into anything or anyone they desire. Take Neo, he is allowed to choose the way he looks based upon his own mental facade. He can do and be what he wants, with no fear of the world around him. It is the longing desire of the viewer, the katharsis, which makes this movie a lovemark.

This movie really has something to think about!
The Matrix is the one. Not just the first, but the entire trilogy rules! Once you watch it - The Matrix has you! It changed the way that we look and understand reality. When I first saw Matrix it twisted my mind in a way that made me think about the influence of philosophy in a different matter. This movie really has something to think about! See it, over and over again.

It really got to me
This movie really got to me. I loved the incredible special effects and the trippy storyline. I think the cool leather costumes and great set design were key. Carrie Anne Moss and Laurence Fishburne gave such great performances -- I still think about that film constantly!
