My dream phone
This is my dream phone. I hope this year I can buy one BlackBerry Javelin in order to complete my "new year resolution".

Thanks BlackBerry for saving my life!
Carrying a planner everywhere trying to keep track of your hectic schedule is, as we know, out-of-date. Having a hand written address book, out of style. Checking your email constantly for that important message, frustrating. With my BlackBerry I am able to keep track of those dates and times, I can save my contact list to a CD, and I get emails directly to my hip. Thanks BlackBerry for saving my life!

A near perfect device
A near perfect device that has freed me from the Pavlovian urge to answer any ringing phone. The BlackBerry allows me to control my time by having almost all business contact run through e-mail so that: 1) I can respond in my own time, 2) portability makes that response timely as I respond when I'm in line for something/whatever, 3) when I do speak on the phone/meet in person the conversations are more meaningful as so much prep has been done in advance. The BlackBerry has turned the commodity of meetings and telephone conversations into something more valuable, the way film raised the quality of theatre, then TV raised the quality of film, and now the Internet is raising the standard for TV and magazines. Just as McLuhan would have predicted. And I get more quality time with my family as a result, while maximizing my work efficiency. I love the Blackberry.

Used till breaking point
Looking forward to the arrival of the 'Bold' 9000 HSDPA enabled handset. Been using the 8700v till breaking point; I'll miss the ergonomic feature of the right hand scrolly though!

Elegant and easy to use
The Pearl 8100 is what moved Blackberry from the tolerated tool column into the Lovemark list. It’s both elegant and easy to use and does all things well. Bravo, RIM.

So simple and so simplifying...
So simple and so simplifying, my Blackberry gives the freedom to take off spontaneously and remain as in touch as I want to be, no fuss, no need to plug in and no need to interfere with others, if only all technology was the same.

If only they could...
My Blackberry is the first piece of technology that hasn't complicated my life by forcing me to carry yet another gadget around with me (laptop, iPod, PDA, mobile phone). In fact it did the opposite by doing away with the need to carry a laptop a PDA and a mobile phone all the time! Now on short business trips all I need is my Blackberry to stay connected, clear e-mail and allow me to get straight back to work when I'm back in the office. Now if only they could put a 40GB hard drive in it I could lose the iPod too.....

My survival tool
When I left the World Trade Center on 9/11 I wanted to reach my family and tell them I was OK. But there were no phones available. Land lines didn't work. Cell phones didn't work. Chaos reigned. But my Blackberry kept on working and the message got through. When the New York City blackout began in 2003, systems broke down. My cell phone died. But I was still able to communicate with my colleagues and friends. How? Our Blackberries just kept working. To me, the Blackberry is more than just a business device - is my survival tool. It has served as my lifeline and it has never, ever let me down.

Short and to the point
As others have said, this is the first piece of technology that has actually made my life easier and more efficient. I was involved in a major deal that necessitated travel, connectedness and immediate access to decision-makers. The Blackberry was faster than being "on-line", came with me to meetngs and the airport, gave me phone connectivity and web browsing capability all in my hand. For a change I'm in control and not in a hurry. I communicate on my time, in my terms. My communication is short and to the point - something teachers and bosses could never seem to accomplish. Best of all, it's Canadian; another of my Lovemarks!

Being there for you
Blackberries make you feel connected 24/7. Wherever you are, you can receive and send email. If you're in a boring meeting, you can be sneaky and send some emails out. You can always count on Blackberries being there for you.
