A big satisfying thing
Thanks to the simplicity, low cost, and few ingredients (jello powder, water, optional ice), this is the first food each of my kids made for the family. It is a big satisfying thing for a 3 or 4 year old to be able to do everything (except pour the hot water) and present a yummy treat to the people who usually cook for him. For these memories alone, I will always love Jell-O!

Pudding Pops were amazing
Jello Pudding Pops - these were amazing. It is so sad they stopped making them. From the smooth creamy cold chocolate flavor, to the way they looked with different colors of chocolate swirled together on the outside, these remain one of my fondest childhood memories. I love them still. Definitely a lovemark.

It's like eating a memory
It is the ultimate, childhood fun food! It reminds me of hot Summer days eating mountain fulls of squishy, jiggling, flavored juice (in solid form) oozing out from between your teeth! Way Cool! And the best thing... everyone smiles when they eat it! I still serve it as dessert for my adult dinner parties because it's like eating a memory: a time when the simple life of having fun was all you did as a kid!

Ultimate comfort food
When my mom passed away, a friend brought banana pudding to the house as a gift. It was still warm from cooking. I brought back all the memories from childhood of making pudding for Sunday dinner. We ate it all before my friend got out of the driveway. It truly is the ultimate comfort food.
