Inseparable from family visits
Crown Royal and ginger ale. Some would call it a shame to mix up such a smooth whisky, but to me it is inseparable from family visits. My father doesn't drink much, but when he does, it's usually when the three grownup kids come home from far away - mostly by plane - and it's almost always a CR and Ginger. He loves having his us home, and doesn't let us pay for anything when we visit. So we each started bringing along a bottle of Crown Royal. It became such a standard that we all now call it "The Rent". To me, it's become not just a way to share time and a mischievous smile with my close family, but a ritual for honoring the generosity of my proud yet humble father. I wouldn't drink it today with anybody who wasn't within my close circle of friends and loved ones.

Feelings of absolute warmth and peace
I am a widow with 4 children. I was pregnant with my youngest when I was widowed by a drunk driver. I have a Crown Royal Bag in which I keep my husbands pocket knife, and his keys. This priceless bag also holds the memories of the two of us sipping on a drink after the children were safely tucked in for the night. Whenever I feel that I can no longer deal with the pressures or the pain of life without him, I seek out this velvety soft comfort bag. Touching this bag allows me to regain the feelings of absolute warmth and peace I knew 12 years ago in his company.
