  • You just have to love them

I nominate on behalf of a 2cv owner who was re-cycling waste alongside me recently at a local council depot. His car, which incidently was bright red was taking a few tries to get started.I was concerned of his dilemma and started walking up to his car to offer some help,it started up suddenly with that charming noise that they make and he opened his window upwards and beamed at me in his glasses and said "they try their best all the time you just have to love them" and I just thought how lovely and smitten he was with his car and quite touched by his sense of loyalty.

  • One of the most comfortable cars in the world

The Citroen CX, first presented in 1974 as the successor of the legendary DS, is arguably one of the most comfortable cars in the world, even more than 30 years after being elected 'Car of the Year' in 1975.

  • Is it art where DS comes from?

Darn, and I thought I was the first to think of nominating this icon that I so much idolize. It's so good to find that not only there are people who share this obsession for the Citroen DS, but they also consider sharing them wit others as Lovemarks. Is it art where DS comes from? Or is it god's graceful wand touching designer's right hemisphere of the brain? Vote this car for the outstanding automobile she used to be back in the 60's and who still is...

  • The one marque that stands apart

I can't believe the Citroën DS hasn't been nominated yet! I have owned Citroëns all my life, from my first DS at varsity through to my little old man's AX II. This is the one marque that stands apart from all the other Euro clones. The DS is the shark-shaped attention grabber. One of the world's most recognised cars, and certainly the most distinctive. To this day, every time I see one go past, I'm still transfixed. I feel like bloody cheering.
