  • I'm glad I have all their albums

I love it all the way. Keep up the great and awesome work. I'm glad I have all their albums and went to the concert. It was really awesome that I went and I did enjoy it a lot.

  • An exceptional anomaly.

Duran Duran produces a unique sound and are pioneers to bridging aesthetic beauty (them) with excellent music. They somehow, interestingly, managed to speak to women and for women in an interesting unexpected way. It first appears "typical" but with greater analysis, you realize how they elevate and give due value to what women are/want/feel/think and desire. They are an exceptional anomaly.

  • They still have the support of us as Duranies.

I am a teenager and I love duran duran both old and new! Their music is beautiful, and anyone who says differently is not at all a true 'Duranie' ! People may say that Duran Duran is not popular anymore, but they still have the support of us as Duranies. I find Nick Rhodes extremely sexy. I love Duran Duran.

  • Special place in my heart

Okay, I still love this band. When I was a teenager I thought they were the best, though as I got older I realized that their music was pretty awful. But they still have a special place in my heart because their songs were catchy and remind me of the 80s and being a kid. I still know each band member's name and unfortunately recall some of their birthdays. (Why is that useless knowledge lodged in my brain?)

  • They have grown with me.

A 25-year career in pop music is an accomplishment in itself, but Duran Duran has done it with both fashion and style, with both pomp and humility, with both considerable beauty and 'undominate-able' brains. They have grown with me. A candy swirl of "cute" boys and dance music when I was 10, but a tour de force of attractive men with intelligent and literate songs now. This band made me feel sophisticated as a child, and like a kid again now. This is not about the music, even though it's gorgeous and influential. This is more about the IDEA of Duran Duran. To this band we all owe lavish-production videos, the necessity of being a "total package" pop star, and the resuscitation of the 80's vibe today. My children will be listening to these guys, because I will see to it that they're cool enough to seek them out.
