  • They are all so enjoyable

The first time I ever heard of Nicholas Sparks was when I was in 8th grade. I went to the movies to see 'A Walk To Remember' and balled my eyes out. After seeing the film I bought the book and loved the story even more. From then on I started a collection of all his books and made a promise that I would read every single book of his. Although many of his stories have similar connections, they are all so enjoyable to read!!

  • It gets better with age

My very first Nicholas Sparks book was ’The Carpenter’, which was a true love story. I have read it 4 times and probably will again. It gets better with age. ’The Notebook’ was a tear jerker, but what a love story. That is like my husband and I - after 45 years together, we are like peanut butter and jelly. Thanks Nicholas for such wonderful work.

  • I wish to tell him how much I admire his works

I can never describe my respect and continuing interest in this North Carolina author. My first introduction to Mr. Sparks and his book was in his home town. While in town regarding a new car I had purchased, I visited the book store, there I saw a section devoted to Nicholas Sparks, and purchased my first book. I started out with paperbacks, but soon purchased the hardbacks, since I could not wait to read his newest one. I have yet to meet Mr. Sparks in person, or get his autograph. I wish to tell him how much I admire his works, (books and movies)and to thank him for the many hours of pleasure they have brought to me.

  • I wasn't much of a reader...

I wasn't much of a reader until I read Sparks' books. Now, I reccomend them to everyone. I even took a trip to North Carolina to go to all the places in his books and the outer banks. Since he lives in a small town, most people had seen him around, attended his church, or knew his favorite restaurant. They all had goog things to say about him.

  • Probably the best writer in the world...

I love Nicholas Sparks' books and I'm only 13 years old. I haven't gotten the chance to read all of them but I loved "A Walk To Remember" and "The Notebook." Both of these books made me cry! I believe he is probably the best writer in the world! I can't wait for the next!

  • Absolute favorite

A Walk to Remember is my absolute favorite love story! The Notebook was just as good, and I am dying until it comes out on DVD in Jan 05!

  • Wonderfully inspiring

My daughter and I have a separate collections of Nicholas' books - hers in hardcover and mine in paperback. We have been reading his wonderfully inspiring books since the very first one was released. We were also able to meet him at one of his booksignings on Martha's Vineyard. He is very down-to-earth and we had a nice chat with him. We recommend his books to friends, family and anyone in the book store or library who asks about him or his books. We're glad to see that his books are being turned into movies too, as we have added those DVDs to our collections as well.

  • He appreciates the smaller things

I began reading Nicholas Sparks after a friend recommended The Notebook to me, I continued reading through his novels, and I am just amazed at how well he writes! After reading Three Weeks With My Brother, I found a great respect for him and his novels. Nicholas is still very young, has lost so much and has accomplished more than I could dream of. What's best about him is that he appreciates the smaller things, and realizes that life is not a race. Something most millionares never realize. Nicholas is definitely a Lovemark!
