Ethical, refreshing, no lame slogans...
Hunter Gatherer... Wow! Great concept-clothes made ethically. They are an anti sweatshop label, which is a very refreshing thing anywhere in the world! This store even puts money back into local charities. The best thing is that the clothes are cool, and I'm supporting a good cause without a lame slogan. The clothes are so cute, combining vintage styles with a fun and a sense of humour. I love Hunter Gatherer.

Unique rather than one of the sheep
Hunter Gatherer rocks! It is my favourite shop in Melbourne. The new clothes they sell are so different to other labels and the fabrics they use are unlike any commercial brand, so you can be unique rather than one of the sheep. I also like their cute accessories- A-1.

Beyond the cool
For me, Hunter Gatherer is the only fashion label going beyond functionality of clothing and the cool of clothing to another level of warm fuzzy and loyal committment. For many reasons... Its No SweatShop label accreditation makes it an ethical fashion label supporting workers in an Australian industry. It is homespun and small scale-run by dedicated people who care about their community and product and who listen to their customers. Its profits go to charity The Brotherhood of St Laurence's community programs, making a difference to people's lives. Customers feel everything is loved and crafty, warm and whimsical - if a bit clumsy, not perfect and 'too cool' for them.
