Spokane Shock

Spokane Shock

The Spokane Shock burst into the Arena Football 2 league in 2006. They won the league championship that first year. They won it again in 2009. The team owner is committed to providing family friendly entertainment to the Spokane and North Idaho market area. They, and their sponsors, give back to the community in many ways. Because of all they do in and for the city and citizens in the area, and providing championship entertainment, they have averaged the highest attendance in the league each of their four years. Ticket price are extremely reasonable. A whole family can attend and not break the bank. The experience is electrifying! This area loves the Shock! So do I. I have attended most of their games. There is a great feeling of friendship and belonging to all the fans. GO SHOCK!

Quality Street

Quality Street

Ever since I had my first Quality Street box of chocolates in the late 80's, when it was a Rowntree's brand, I loved it more than anything that a person can regard as food! As Quality Street boxes where not sold in Egypt, everytime we have a box in our house it meant that some dear relative came from abroad to see us with this great gift. My grandma used to bring us Quality Street twice a year when she came to visit from Saudi Arabia. I saw how much this box of chocolates, with its flavors inside and colors, brought joy to my family in Egypt. It symbolized quality chocolate and happiness. Nothing more cheerful than connecting happiness with chocolate. Each time I see the Quality Street box I have this feeling of happiness I used to get when I was 4 years old. Now I am preparing for my marriage and designing my wedding invitation as a box of chocolates from Quality Street with the same old two characters on the front of the box as me and my bride. I will always love Quality Street chocolate.

Pirelli

Pirelli

Why is Pirelli a Lovemark for me? Probably, because of its being associated to the so-called Italian industrial miracle...the one following the World War II. Baby boomers (as I am) know very well the relationship between birth rates and economic prosperity. My father was actually a blue collar engaged in the automotive industry, so do understand me now? The myth of the car for every family was our bread and butter. In addition, my primary toys were models of racing cars and for long time I stomped on a go-kart powered by pedals. That kid has gone forever but a day-to-day driver is always on the road. He's been transporting women to parties, friends to venues, and children to school. I have become, anyway, a great regular driver, the kind you find in a classic race of endurance such as the 24 Hours in LeMans. (Just where the cars went into the myth for me). No crash experienced in 30 years of driving under rain, snow, heat or fog. Let me say: maybe fortune helps the excellent ones! And a skilled driver always prefers to lead a car equipped with Pirelli tires, because power is nothing without control! The long P stands for patience too: oh driver, be patient... This thought belongs to all passengers even though they don't say a word about the rubber train under them. Now you know how we have been going steady for sure.

Dermalogica

Dermalogica

Much more than a skincare system, Dermalogica has the power to change minds. It's like...when you use this, you feel good about yourself! I've met a lot of people that found in Dermalogica - the product that solved the biggest problems of their skin. Daily Microfoliant is part of me nowadays! I realy love it.

ECCO

ECCO

(Int: living room, glasses of wine on the table)
She: OMG! Look at that! We have the same feet!
Me: Wow! I have never noticed that! LOL!
She: LOL!
Me: We’ve known each other for, eh..
She: Four years! Look at that, they are the same shape. Foot twins!
Me: Long and gnarly... I hate buying shoes. One size past where most lines stop…
She: I have some shoes you must try on…
Me: OMG! You MUST try these on! (Scuffles to the bedroom to get a box of cute, heeled shoes)
Me: When I was little my mum would only get me foot formed shoes…
She: Nooo! Me: …from ECCO.
She: OMG NOOO!!!
Me: Yeah… but ECCO is different, they got really cool designs now! And they are still comfy! Last time I went home to The Old Country, I saw these amazing ECCO boxer shoes in red, with black rubber flames coming up from the soles.
She: Did you buy those? I don’t remember seeing them.
Me: Nah, they were out of my size. End of season.
She: Typical.
Me: Yeah…
She: But I guess you could order shoes from them, they must have a website? And then you could grab them at the beginning of the season?
Me: Yeah! And I’d know the cool looking ones would always fit!
She: Yeah!
Me: So what were those shoes you were on about?
She: Oh! Stilettos!
Me: Ooooh!
She: They don’t have those at ECCO.
Me: No… They would have been comfy ‘tho.
She: Yeah… (Etc etc, fade out.)
The End
