VinXperience is a Vin Diesel fan website run by a group from England, Germany, Hungary, Sweden and the USA. VinXperience and its related websites include a photo gallery, video website, message board, and MySpace blogs.

Vin Diesel is on the Lovemarks Top 200 List.

Lovemarks: How did VinXperience first start?

VinXperience: VinXperience was started soon after the release of the Vin Diesel movie ‘Pitch Black’. The site was originally called Pitch Black World, and it provided a place for fans of the movie to get together. As Vin’s career blossomed, so did our community, and the site was renamed VinXperience. Since then, we have grown dramatically. Our website has received millions of visitors, and many thousands more receive their Vin news and pictures through our message board, newsletter, photo and video sites, as well as our blogs.

LMKS: What do you think makes Vin Diesel a Lovemark?

VX: A Lovemark has a reach that extends far and wide, and holds value – the same can be said for Vin Diesel. Vin taps into dreams by being the everyday Joe with a Sir Lancelot flare. He embodies men’s ideal of power and women’s ideal of passion. He is also inspirational in that in order to get what he wanted in life, he worked hard and never allowed anyone to crush his dreams. He remained true to his goals and kept pushing, even when faced with many obstacles. The independent films that he produced finally led to a custom-made part in ‘Saving Private Ryan’, and his career has taken off since then. His philosophy, as well as his courage and dedication, serve as inspiration to many of our community members.

LMKS: An idea associated with Lovemarks is the idea of Loyalty Beyond Reason. In thinking about Vin Diesel, how, in broad terms, does one exhibit loyalty?

VX: Loyalty can be exhibited, described and demonstrated in many ways. Devotion, dedication and affection are individually powerful concepts. Together, these three create an unbreakable bond of solidarity. The members of VinXperience are a stellar example of this: a community of loyal fans who show their devotion, dedication and affection on a daily basis.

LMKS: Through your blog, what have you learned about the Vin Diesel community?

VX: We have learned that members of the Vin Diesel community are fiercely loyal and surprisingly talented individuals. Many members share a passion for creativity, the drive to achieve their own goals, and a lively sense of humor.

LMKS: If VinXperience could provide Vin Diesel with one bit of advice, what would it be?

VX: We would love to see Vin do more movies, more interviews, and more public appearances.
