After spying a pair of shimmering silver Birkies in the pages of November 02 issue of French Vogue, I had to have them. I searched for a year across three continents - and finally tracked down a pair in the Covent Garden, London store. Now, I float. The only pain is that all my other shoes (prada, adidas, costume national..) are left gathering dust in the corner.
