Starbuck's success is built on the broken backs of many, many, small independant coffee house owners who have been forced out of business by the "Buck$". I don't get it. Corporate coffee isn't even that good! The shops have no personality. As each is a cookie cutter version of every other Starbuck's. They can't accomodate special dietary needs, they can only do what the corporation dictates (i.e. no sugar free, fat free frappuccino). They want to take over the coffee world! It makes me sad to have fewer and fewer choices for Espresso when I travel. I say, Boycott Starschmucks and save the Mom & Pop shops!
I love this shop! The coffee they serve is all organic (Adams from Oakland, CA), and the cookies are the best ever! They bake right on the premises fresh every morning rather than having food trucked in from some corporate warehouse. They so totally rock! They also provide free WiFi. If you travel the Northern California coast, check them out!
