  Being a relatively recent convert, I have only had a computer at home for the last couple of years. I chose a Mac because I did not want 'office world' in my home with all the hideous PC gray boxes making my sanctuary ugly. There is a zen beauty and simplicity to Macs; they are a thing of joy.

  Why? Because Basquiat was quite simply a genius: the words, the intelligence, the passion, the rawness, the sophistication, the child-like, the insight, the beauty and the rage. How? Because he has touched my soul, my work and the way I look at things in this mad world. Not everything that he did was brilliant; much is flawed and sloppily created but the poetry always shines through. He resonates still. Plush safe he think!
