Travelpod.com has greatly influenced the way I travel. Not only is it a great way to inform friends and family of my whereabouts, it also allows me to inform other readers about destinations. But foremostly, it has made me look around differently - as I'd be walking along in India, Tibet or China, I'd already be looking forward to adding a phrase about something I had spotted to my travelogue. Travelopd helped open my eyes and become more alert to what's around me - greatly improving the quality of my trip (and the built-in spellcheck means I don't look foolish).
What a fabulous continent. The variety of languages, cultures, history, religions, food, architecture and people will never stop to amaze me. It's amazing to see the small changes that make it so beautiful, sometimes within very small distances of each other. Forget about being Dutch - I'm extremely proud to be a European and to belong to this wonderful part of the world.
