I am so sold on these products
Agel
14 March 2007
Ooooh how can I explain these wonderful little foil gelpacked goodies that are full of vitamins, minerals and supplements? Are they not the grooviest, sexiest ways to take supplements? Gone are the days of pills, powders and potions. No need to carry swallow down pills. Just rip open a little pack (they’re only 10cm long) and suck down the goodness. I am so sold on these products I’ve become a team member! You gotta try them!
Oprah, thank you for being YOU!
Oprah
17 April 2007
Oprah, thank you for being YOU! An inspiration, a woman and a woman of colour who started life with a lot to deal with, and look at you now, you truly live the Secret in the way you have created your life: your drive, believe and knowing that you would have the life you dreamed of. I don’t think you realise how much you inspire all of us! Thank you so much!
They remind me of my time in Paris
Rhodia
23 April 2007
I was tickled pink to see Rhodia in Lovemarks, smiles all over the place. Those little gridded pads were my first buy when I arrived for my first trip to Paris in 1984, oh gods I adore them as well, the paper, the feel and the fact they remind me of my time in Paris. I remember seeing people writing in these gridded pads and being curious, as in Australia we only used this sort of paper for technical/maths work. I love "different" and these really take me back to a most incredible year! Love ya Rhodia.
Heroes is where we can all dream
Heroes
11 June 2007
Heroes is where we can all dream and imagine we are more than we are. That’s why we love it. Those characters exemplify, in part, the amazing lives we’d love to have, to step out of normality and fly free, or walk through walls or mend ourselves miraculously. Dream on!
Te quiero Frida!
Frida Kahlo
11 June 2007
Te quiero Frida! Brilliant, left of centre, courageous, creative, heart-centred, passionate, your work and mind were way ahead of your time.

I am such a gonner for these books
Black Dagger Brotherhood
31 March 2009
I am such a gonner for these books. I have lost my life to reading them in the last few months, so much so I'm now reading them again. Why? So much tantalising stuff: sex, vampires, adventure, mystical storylines, strong characters, humour and you get so involved and lost in these characters lives, you want to be there, not to mention the attraction these vampires give out. Aye carumba!
Anything is possible any time
iPhone
14 April 2010
What can I say about my beloved? She is with me always, never says no, always obliging, ready to get me out of any difficult situation, pretty as a picture. How do I love the my Pinkie iPhone? Life is truly Star Trek like with an iPhone, you feel as if anything is possible any time! Yes I have now an iphone widow in my partner, but then again, I was the widow when she got her Touch a few years ago, snap! Waxing lyrical.
Thank you Martin
Martin Luther King, Jr.
06 August 2010
A most beautiful soul who was before his time but luckily he was, he changed so much in his relatively short life. Thank you Martin, you made a difference to so many people's lives, not just African Americans but everyone who believes in freedom to be who they are. If only you were still alive today I'd give you a wonderful big hug of gratitude.
My skin feels like velvet
Dermalogica
11 September 2010
Why Dermalogica? A few freebie samples from somewhere that sat in the bottom of my bathroom drawers for ages and then when clearing decided to actually USE them (hey they were free!) and wowee I am suddenly feeling very, very good. Firstly I tried the Daily Microfoliant made with a base of rice powder, salicylic acid, bla bla, well I do care what's in things but this feels like heaven as it glides across my skin, I suddenly look like a Kabuki player and when I wash it off my skin feels like velvet. I'm obsessed and start to look where I can buy it. Then realise I have another little sachet, a different one this time the Multivitamin Thermafoliant which is so different but incredible, its like a gel filled fine sandpaper on your skin with the most delicious lemon scent. I am once again obsessed and there you have it I am Dermalogica obsessed!
Invest in yourself
8 Inkerman
11 September 2010
Want to be warm? Feel cosy? Soft touch on the skin? Yes please! I finally doled out the big dollars and bought myself a cashmere wrap and I am very very happy. Do yourself a favour and invest in yourself by getting cashmere, truly it changes your life to be in something so lovingly warm and soft, you go back to feeling like a wee baby, every need met!
The love affair has begun
Apple
16 March 2011
It is so heart warming to see all these other comments about beloved Apple. Now I was recently seduced to come to the other side and whilst it took me some time of stroking new Toshibas, Asus, Sony and other PCs didn't really catch me or cut it I left myself a vacuum and never really thought of a Mac from all the negative comments you've heard over the years, here I sit, NEW Macbook Pro (13.3") and the love affair has begun! I now feel like all of you and the saying "Once you get a Mac you never go back". She is so sleek and silver and sits on my lap as she belonged there forever. I love how she makes everything so easy. Ever set up a printer with a PC? Know how fiddly it can be? This little darling gets plugged into the printer and guess what, well she just prints without any windows popping up saying 'Go back you've gone the wrong way' or whatever. So amazing, I am sold and I am finding the change an adventure, the frustration I might have had turning into surprise at how easy she is to work on. She's EEE = easy, effortless & enjoyable! Thanks Steve & the crew for a most beautifully designed beast!
Beauty everywhere
Bali, Indonesia
22 April 2011
Beauty everywhere, spirituality in everything, right at my doorstep warm humid and green. People with open hearts, cheapie heaven, creativity abundant everywhere. Foodie heaven. Keep going back every 2 years. Love it. Nowhere like it. Wifi which puts Australia to shame.
They're worth it
Posca
13 May 2011
I saw this incredible video a while ago by the French artists Koralie & Supakitch, who were doing this incredible wall art and I was mesmerised. The beauty of their work was because of their talent AND because of using Posca pens. So many colours and the quality of the work is so beautiful that so many artists are now using these pens. And whilst a little on the expensive side, they're worth it. Hard to get them in Australia 6 months ago, now much easier, even Officework stocks them..Ah the power of the Internet!
