I began listening to Jimmy back in 1975 when I worked at a drive-in movie theater in northern Minnesota. I would turn every speaker, on every speaker pole (about 200 of them), to full volume and listen to him sing about places with billowing trade winds, exotic people, and fun-filled times. After 25 years, I still repeat his lyrics when confronted by ridiculous people and situations. And, instead of being angry, I just smile. I have never belonged to any other fan club, have visited every Margaritaville store, and have spent my hard earned money to support his lifestyle. And, each summer, I look forward to the release of another album. Yep, I am loyal beyond reason, and proud of it.
