    • First good impression

      Internazionale FC Milano

      21 September 2004

As football/soccer is entering very soon the spirit of an Italian child, the first good impression comes from a club name, a player, or maybe only from the right colors of the players' jersey... So 40 years ago my Inter-fan experience started by putting on the black and blue jersey knitted by mom. Inter Power!

    • I think about it all the time

      Ingram Camiceria

A purple shirt in pure cotton, she didn't wear much more. Put it in the washing machine (on a short spin program) and hung it to dry. Barely 21, she left, but lost the technical details label on the tiled floor. It said: Material...Makò Cotton Quality...High Level Finishing...New Formula Brand...Ingram, Italy. I think about it all the time.

    • 20 years later the Batman returns

      Batman

20 years ago I was in Paris for the last time. The city was crawling with the billboards launching the Batman as movie directed by Tim Burton. 20 years later the Batman returns to my life through two children!

    • Power is nothing without control

      Pirelli

      28 October 2009

Why is Pirelli a Lovemark for me? Probably, because of its being associated to the so-called Italian industrial miracle...the one following the World War II. Baby boomers (as I am) know very well the relationship between birth rates and economic prosperity. My father was actually a blue collar engaged in the automotive industry, so do understand me now? The myth of the car for every family was our bread and butter. In addition, my primary toys were models of racing cars and for long time I stomped on a go-kart powered by pedals. That kid has gone forever but a day-to-day driver is always on the road. He's been transporting women to parties, friends to venues, and children to school. I have become, anyway, a great regular driver, the kind you find in a classic race of endurance such as the 24 Hours in LeMans. (Just where the cars went into the myth for me). No crash experienced in 30 years of driving under rain, snow, heat or fog. Let me say: maybe fortune helps the excellent ones! And a skilled driver always prefers to lead a car equipped with Pirelli tires, because power is nothing without control! The long P stands for patience too: oh driver, be patient... This thought belongs to all passengers even though they don't say a word about the rubber train under them. Now you know how we have been going steady for sure.
