I started collecting Bearbricks around 2005. I first saw them on a magazine and thought it was adorable so I went to Kiddyland in Omotesando (Tokyo, Japan) and bought one. Ever since that day I opened my first Bearbrick, I am still collecting them. There's a feeling of excitement before opening those mini boxes because we don't know which one is packed and sometimes, a feeling of disappointment when I receive the same Bearbrick. I feel the love for Bearbricks because of their size and design. The package is also made out of plastic/aluminum material so when opening the package it gives a feeling of unwrapping a candy. But overall, they are very "kawaii" (cute) creatures.
