The Skoda Octavia Combi in my case; a wonderful stationwagon a tad smaller than a Volkswagen Passat. Very similar to other Volkswagen Group cars; same engines, gearbox and so on. A large stationwagon with a lot of extras standard, for the price of a pretty basic Volkswagen Golf. Loved that car.
Ahh, Apple Computers. The old ones I still have in the basement because I'd feel bad about throwing them out. The heavily used Powerbook every PC user still envies even tho it's three years old. The Powermac G4 with a large 21" Studio Display. The older Powermacs that ran our DNS and mail services. The brand new duals we host for clients.
Apple is more than a product; they are tools, enablers, it creates a way of life and a superior experience that makes working on a PC less preferable. Must be Steve's Reality Distortion Field...
A black 1999 Volkswagen Golf TDI is the car I still miss the most, out of all the cars I've driven -- loved that car, loved the engine. Volkswagen's TDI engines are considered superior to the gasoline models by most Europeans, providing horsepower AND economy. A lot of fun to drive.
That is true for other Volkswagen Group brands; I've driven the Seat Leon, and leased the Skoda Octavia because it provided better value within the available budget. But when it comes down to it, I would still want a Golf TDI, not the new model, but the one before. More red letters would be better..
