I love using the tablet, and the Wacom brand specifically for several reasons. The pen is mightier than the mouse. You can achieve a greater degree of sensitivity, and quickly access areas of high resolution displays easier. The pen shape also reduces wrist cramping with prolonged mouse use. Stress from clicking and holding the mouse buttons is reduced with the pen as a quick tap of the pen can mimic a double click. The Wacom brand is the best in class because of increased sensitivity, making the tablet easier to use. With practice, the pen tool feels like an extension of your hand, even your mind. At you barely have to think and your tablet is responding to your gentle touches. The design is very simple and elegant. It is not overloaded with features. As you get more comfortable with the tablet you discover program specific functions and short cuts that can be customized on the tablet however you prefer. The only downside is it is not ideal for frequent switching between typing and using the pen tool, in these situations a mouse is preferred, although the tablet does come with a wireless mouse that requires no batteries.
