In just one week of ownership, I have come to adore this quirky, unique vehicle. The Element lives up to the "U" in SUV, quickly converting from family car with four bucket seats, to our "Bikemobile" when the back seats are removed. It only took my husband one evening after purchasing our new Element to install a front fork-mounting system for our two road bikes in back. The cavernous cargo area of the Element provides plenty of room for both bikes, gear, and luggage. And is this baby ever practical, with wide-opening double doors on both sides that permit loading bikes without opening our garage door and letting bugs in. This funky SUV is a huge step up the "coolness" scale from our mini-van. In fact, it's just about as hip as we are - we're only 43 and 50 years young!
